Deal Food & Drink Festival

This year's food festival seemed slightly bigger than last year, with a good variety of food and an extra seating area. Do not eat before you visit, or you'll miss out on the choice, from BBQ roast meats, jumbo German and English Sausages, burgers, Greek, Chinese, Thainese (have a guess), and wraps, among others. For afters, there were crepes and churros, dunk cookies, ice-cream, and lager, craft beers, ciders and cocktails to wash it down.

Other stands offered local and exotic cheeses, biltong, artisan English fudges, spiced rums, flavoured vodkas, artisan art and crafts, and entertainment such as face painting for kids.

Right in the middle is a stage with a selection of talented musicians taking their turns to perform, which really adds a partly-like atmosphere to the event.

I visited on the day with the worst weather (as you can tell from the photos), but it was well supported and everybody was enjoying the atmosphere.
